The text contained a number of inaccuracies:
- The main thread is never blocked by a stream close.
- There is no such thing as an EOF character on the OS level,
the libuv level, or the Node.js stream level.
- These streams *do* respond to `.close()`, but pending
reads can delay this indefinitely.
- Pushing a random character into the stream works only when
the source data can be controlled; Using the JS `.push()`
method is something different, and does not “unblock” any threads.

2. We have two variants of `fs.write()` / `fs.writeSync()` methods:
for buffers and strings. Currently, the sync methods have only one
common reference to the full description of async methods.
However, the link may seem to belong to the last sync variant only
(for strings) and, as it refers to the first async variant
(for buffers), this may be confusing. This PR makes two different
sync variants refer to two different async variants.
3. In passing, both returned values of sync methods were also made

Proof of concept for an "Edit on GitHub" link, inspired by the
Serverless docs.
One issue is that the link is to the version of the docs on the master
branch even if the person was reading a different version of the doc. I
don't consider that a big problem, although we can always remove the
link if it turns out to be a big problem. I don't think there is a good
solution. PRs need to be opened against the master branch generally.
Having a bunch of PRs against staging branches is probably not what we
want. If there's an update to one version of the doc, there will usually
be an update to other versions.

1) Removed a number of root properties that did not seem relevant:
source, desc, and introduced_in. There no longer is a source, and
the other two are from the first include and do not reflect the
entire API.
2) As with https://github.com/nodejs/node/issues/20100, the current
"desc" properties sometimes contained in-page links, other times
referenced another page, and often did not match the links in the
original HTML or JSON file. I chose to standardize on external links
as "desc" values are isolated snippets as opposed to all.html which
can be viewed as a standalone and self contained document.
3) Eliminated preprocessing for @include entirely, including the test
case for this function.
4) _toc.md was renamed to index.md.
5) index comments no longer appear in embedded TOCs (left hand side

Additionally, provides an example of using the new macro to construct
an addon which stores per-addon-instance data in a heap-allocated

Bundle a `uv_async_t`, a `uv_idle_t`, a `uv_mutex_t`, a `uv_cond_t`,
and a `v8::Persistent<v8::Function>` to make it possible to call into JS
from another thread. The API accepts a void data pointer and a callback
which will be invoked on the loop thread and which will receive the
`napi_value` representing the JavaScript function to call so as to
perform the call into JS. The callback is run inside a
`node::CallbackScope`.
A `std::queue<void*>` is used to store calls from the secondary
threads, and an idle loop is started by the `uv_async_t` callback on the
loop thread to drain the queue, calling into JS with each item.
Items can be added to the queue blockingly or non-blockingly.
The thread-safe function can be referenced or unreferenced, with the
same semantics as libuv handles.

Scrypt is a password-based key derivation function that is designed to
be expensive both computationally and memory-wise in order to make
brute-force attacks unrewarding.
OpenSSL has had support for the scrypt algorithm since v1.1.0. Add a
Node.js API modeled after `crypto.pbkdf2()` and `crypto.pbkdf2Sync()`.
Changes:
* Introduce helpers for copying buffers, collecting openssl errors, etc.
* Add new infrastructure for offloading crypto to a worker thread.
* Add a `AsyncWrap` JS class to simplify pbkdf2(), randomBytes() and
scrypt().

an example. We don't link to examples of wrapping at 80 characters, for
example. There's no need to link just to show what a level-one heading
is. (And if level-one heading is unclear, then it may be preferable to
improve the terminology rather than to link to an example.)

This commit allows permission bits higher than 0o777 to go through
the API (e.g. `S_ISVTX`=`0o1000`, `S_ISGID`=`0o2000`,
`S_ISUID`=`0o4000`).
Also documents that these bits are not exposed through `fs.constants`
and their behaviors are platform-specific, so the users need to
use them on their own risk.

The data pointer returned for the typedarray has
already been adjusted by the offset so it does not
point to the start of the buffer, instead id points
to the start of the first element.
I think we probably would have liked it to point to the
start of the buffer, but we can't change as that would be
a breaking change.
Update the doc to match the implementation.

Currently http2 does not properly submit GOAWAY frames when a session
is being destroyed. It also doesn't properly handle when the other
party severs the connection after sending a GOAWAY frame, even though
it should.
Edge, IE & Safari are currently unable to handle empty TRAILERS
frames despite them being correctly to spec. Instead send an empty
DATA frame with END_STREAM flag in those situations.
Fix and adjust several flaky and/or incorrect tests.

links with autogenerated ones: it adds backticks, parentheses, section
numbers, and updates URLs.
Also, some typos are fixes in passing (missing periods, reference
sorting).
