Most important change here is to point people to the YAML material in
the docs rather than the previous way we indicated versions that
introduced or deprecated APIs.
Remove contents about assets as we do not actually have any in the docs.
Otherwise, a bunch of stylistic changes, mostly to keep things concise
and direct.

Previously only V8 options supported both dashes in them (making them
equivalent), but now Node.js also supports both styles so the note can
be removed.

Remove promise to eventually link an example document to show level-one
heading. The style guide has been fine without the example doc for a
long time. The statement is already clear. And the style guide itself is
an example. We don't link to examples of wrapping at 80 characters, for
example. There's no need to link just to show what a level-one heading
is. (And if level-one heading is unclear, then it may be preferable to
improve the terminology rather than to link to an example.)

rather than just pronouns. Pronouns are OK in all documentation. (For
example, "it" is a pronoun and is acceptable in all types of
documentation.) Specify "personal pronouns" for clarity.

* Remove "mass nouns" as no mass nouns are given as examples. Plural
nouns seems to be what was meant, so use that instead.
* Repeat "gender-neutral" to make it clear that it refers to both terms
and not merely the first term it appears before.
* Remove "non-comprehensive examples". Examples are, by definition,
non-comprehensive. No need to announce that the examples are examples.
It is obvious.

This commit fixes an incorrect keyboard shortcut in
`doc/STYLE_GUIDE.md`: entering em-dashes is done via Alt+Shift+"-" on
macOS, not via Ctrl+Alt+"-". Besides that, Option is more canonical name
of Alt on Macs.
